On Fat Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 6 – 11 PM, Hillcrest will celebrate 11 fabulous years of Mardi Gras. Over three blocks of University Avenue in Hillcrest will morph into eccentric wonder; the street party of the decade, Hillcrest Mardi Gras will host a night of mischief that only Hillcrest can get away with. With the help of Rich’s DJ Nikno we’ll be dancing in the streets under the stars. And the beautiful girls from Lips, the always colorful Hillcrest Mardi Gras Gogo Dancers and Paris Antonette Queen,  will all be adorned in spirit.

Hillcrest’s flare will launch you into the true spirit of Mardi Gras, a carnival honoring a period of abandonment and merriment to precede the penance of Lent!

To get you into that abandonment timbre Hillcrest Mardi Gras’got more ornamental beads than you could possibly imagine.
